Neuloin sukat loppuun.

I finished a pair of socks.

puikot / needles: 2.5 mm bamboo
aloitettu / started: 14.2.-09

Oli 27 astetta lämmintä ja neuloskelin mökin pihakeinussa bikineissä. Kuva ehkä kertoo jotain tilanteesta (niin joo, värjättiin me siinä helteessä lankaakin muutaman naisen voimin). Vieläkään ei huvita ihan niin kuin ennen, mutta jospa tämä taas tästä. Ohje oli loistava, tosin kantalappua edeltävässä palmikkokierroksessa oli jotain häikkää tai mulla kognitiivisia ongelmia, koska se meni molemmilla kerroilla pieleen. Ihan sama.

It was 27 degrees Celsius and I was knitting these on the yard of our cottage in Lapland wearing just a bikini. I guess the photo gives you an idea of how absurd it was (yeah, we were dyeing some yarn in the heat too).

I'm still not as into knitting as I used to, but I hope the mojo is coming back. The sock pattern was awesome, even if I think there was some errata in the set-up round for heel flap, because I fussed with it both times. Or then, I might've had just sum cognitive problemz. I'm content with them, anyway. :)



En ehkä ole neulonut, mutta ei kevät ihan harakoille mennyt. Olen nyt mm. ylioppilastodistusta, ajokorttia ja kahta jatko-opiskelupaikkaa rikkaampi. Tästä on kiva jatkaa!

Even if I haven't been knitting, the spring wasn't ALL wasted. I've now graduated from the Finnish high school, got my driver's license and was accepted to a couple places where I can study next autumn. So, there's actually stuff to look forward! :)
